Our Philanthropic Vision

In consonance with its history of inspiring joy and remembrance of our historic traditions, the Battle of Flowers® Foundation will bring vibrancy and better lives to the peoples and communities of San Antonio and Texas, and will commit its resources to support excellence in education, cultivate patriotic values and good citizenship, and increase knowledge and appreciation of Texas's culture and history, by providing financial support and delivering branded programs in our focus areas.

Our Focus Areas

• Increase accessibility to resources, historic locations, and experiences that teach and bring alive Texas history
• Provide secondary and higher education opportunities for students, especially those who have participated in the Association's activities
• Provide training, resources, and support to educators and educational institutions to recognize, implement, and further, educational programs, including those with special focus on Texas history and culture
• Create opportunities and awards for student excellence in the arts, writing, and public speaking
• Promote literacy
• Encourage and recognize Texas and United States patriotism, good citizenship, and student and community leadership
• Honor and support our military, and service members' families
• Sustain the mission of the Battle of Flowers® Association
